The IHI brand S2-171 is a #2-14 AWG wire terminal for use both on Printed Circuit Boards and case grounding applications. The unique #8 mounting hole is a convneient way to fasten the lug using a rivet or #8 screw. Wen mounting to surfaces which can creep such a PCB materials, consideration to maintaining contact pressure should be given by use of a spring compression washer (Belleville). For other styles of wire lug with bolt or rivet mouning please review: S2 AWG #2-14 with 1/4" bolt mounting holes. S2TP AWG #2-14 with (1) 1/4 bolt mounting hole and anti-rotation rib (turn prevent) T2/0 AWG #2/0-8 with (2) #10 bolt mounting holes for secure, non rotating mounting.
